located in New Haven
SoWhay is the name I've given to the New Haven neighborhood bordered by Whalley Ave. on the north, Edgewood Ave. on the south, The Boulevard to the west and Norton Pkwy. to the east. It has a unique vibe and some all-too-non-unique urban problems. There are lots of great people out here and I try to give them a voice that cuts through the noise. My posts run the gamut from notes from the neighborhood management meetings to videos taken by my neighbors to local news to my opinion of Oprah. I also occasionally write for The New Haven Independent http://newhavenindependent.org, and that's in addition to working in a lab at Yale, teaching second grade Hebrew school and working on several community projects.
