Kalamazoo, Michigan is a wonderful city.
Kalamazoo is home to multiple higher education institutions including Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Davenport University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
There are a variety of entertainment venues including Kalamazoo Civic Theatre, Miller Auditorium, The State Theatre, as well as many cinemas -- the newest being the downtown Rave that features huge screens with new digital light projectors.
Kalamazoo is within driving distance to the shore line, Chicago and Detroit.

We just moved from Las Vegas, where if you talk to someone and tell them thank you they look at you as if you have grown two heads and are speaking a foreign language. It was very refreshing to move back to Michigan and talk to people who are actually friendly and tell you to have a good day. Of the things I have seen so far since moving back, I think that is my favorite aspect. I am looking forward to finding out what else I enjoy about living in Michigan again.
