State adds 166 Energy Star buildings in 2008

Denver ranks seventh on a list of U.S. cities with the largest number of buildings earning the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star rating last year. Energy Star building use about 35 percent less energy and emit 35 percent less greenhouse gases than average buildings.
