I stumbled on an interesting statistic recently - my neighborhood is heavily populated by people my age. This is somewhat suprising given the relatively high average home value in 98109. However, given the fact that there are 10,100 houses and condos, and 6,320 renter-occupied apartments, it begins to make more sense...so why aren't there more quality bars and restaurants? Zoning or Belltown saturation? ...
